Stitch Fix numero nine

This Stitch Fix post was brought to you during nap time and using my Timer Cam App no less. Not to mention I have three day unwashed hair and morning old make-up in these shots, so let's be kind and non-judgey... mmm-kay.

Now just to brief some of you newbies on Stitch Fix if you've never heard of it. It's awesome.

Stitch Fix is a fun and easy personal styling service. They get your style and size preferences, then send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home,  No two Fixes are alike. Each one is hand–picked just for you.

Basically Free Personal Shopper + Stylist in the comfort of your own home! Meaning you can style each piece using things from your own closet to see what works with your jeans and heels or skirts and flats.
  • create your own style profile
  • get five handpicked items
  • keep what you like and send the rest back
  • ridiculously easy returns
  • they supply style tags with each piece to show you how to wear it
  • Try it on at Home
Need I say more...

Plus it gets better over time, as you work with your own personal stylists they get a better feel of your look! Feel free to check out my previous fixes 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7!

I was actually torn with which items to keep this time around. I liked them all for different reasons and couldn't decide on which piece I loved more. Take a looksie yourself.
When I first saw this in the box I was like "bleh", not for any other reason except I'm pretty particular when it comes to stripes on my clothes. Then after I tried it on I couldn't believe how soft and flowy it was. Not at all like an unflattering jersey material but like a soft comfy cotton material I could not only chase after the babes in, but take a nap on the couch in as well. Plus the way the stripes are deigned made it more flattering than I had envisioned and ended up loving this dress. I paired it with a vintage belt and vintage heels to help it feel more like my style.
 (without tights)
 (with tights)
(fun back zipper, I like the little details in things)

I knew I would love this Easton Floral Print dress the minute I took it out of the box. Great print, fit and though it didn't have pockets (my fave) it did have cute princess sleeves and a fun zipper that made this a top runner for me in my selection.

But then I tried on this and was like "doh"! I heart this one big time. Lively print. Fun Fit. Day to night look. (Like I really have a situation that I need to rock a day to night look, but nonetheless this would totally work)
I'm always so iffy when it comes to blouses, because I'm really just quite lame about wearing denim much and so when I can find a blouse that can pair well with jeans (just in case I haven't shaved) or a skirt it kind of becomes a must have.
This cute tunic dress was actually my top choice before trying anything on. I loved all the cute tangerine colored chicks against the navy blue dress but then after trying it on wasn't too crazy about the fit until I added a belt. I still think it's adorable but not really me.

So I'm after writing this post and looking over these photos I think I'm going to get one (or two) of the top three dresses... any thoughts?

Oh my gosh, what a perfect Fix!! I love everything! Especially the striped dress and the tunic dress. But I probably would've kept everything (though my least fav is the green dress - still cute though).

WOW Natalie, you got a really amazing fix this time! If I were you I'd keep the first dress (striped one) and the floral dress with the zipper up the back. Both of them are so cute & totally you!
