Stitch Fix Fun

As if I already don't happy dance enough when I receive my Stitch Fix box in the mail, it just so happened that my most recent box was delivered while my Molly Poo was visiting! You better believe I was jumping + squealing knowing I'd get to show what was inside the happy box. When I came running through the house to show her the box, I think her exact words were "Fashion show + Photo Shoot NOW!! Which were my thoughts exactly. I mean it was like we were out shopping together except our kids were eating globs of ice cream and being merry instead of running around the dressing room and stressing me out.

Now just to brief some of you newbies on Stitch Fix if you've never heard of it. It's awesome.

Stitch Fix is a fun and easy personal styling service. They get your style and size preferences, then send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home,  No two Fixes are alike. Each one is hand–picked just for you.

Basically Free Personal Shopper + Stylist in the comfort of your own home! Meaning you can style each piece using things from your own closet to see what works with your jeans and heels or skirts and flats.
  • create your own style profile
  • get five handpicked items
  • keep what you like and send the rest back
  • ridiculously easy returns
  • they supply style tags with each piece to show you how to wear it
  • Try it on at Home
Need I say more...

Plus it gets better over time, as you work with your own personal stylists they get a better feel of your look! Feel free to check out my previous fixes 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7!

Oh and since Molly was here to snap some pics + give me an opinion I made her try on one of the pieces as well. You know just to get her in on the action and make it that much more fun! The only thing is, I think we were able to get ONE decent shot of each piece because we were giggling and messing around so much that there are more blooper shots then good shots. I definitely included those for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

 BLOOPERS!
So how cute is Molly rockin' that maxi!? Can we say model much.
Wasn't this such a fun fix. I'm actually not much of a maxi skirt girl nor am I much of a sweater girl so I'm going to make some adjustments to my style profile to tweak the preferences for my next fix. However, I am a dress girl and maybe even more than a dress girl am I a lover of anything with scalloped trim!! That little number was a definite keeper and went straight onto a hanger and into my closet... where it belongs.

If you want to get in on the Stitch Fix action, get on their waiting list HERE! Seriously go sign up!

I love the dress. So glad you kept it. I like the skirt too. Been seeing and liking the same look on Pinterest. But, I don't know that knit is my thing. Anyway...it looks like you had a blast! And that's what friends are for!

Nat,

Right off I loved the scallop trim dress. It also looks really good on you. It's unique. Everything looks good on you and your friend looks adorable too. But that scalloped dress is just fresh and pretty and says spring. :-)

At the risk of sounding like a total creep.... would you mind sharing what brand of jeans you're wearing in the "button back sweater" photo? I am so back pocket picky that it's kinda nuts.... those are super cute! Thank you.......... and, I found your blog by obsessing about stitch fix.... ya'll are adorable.

Rosalind you didn't have a return email on your google account and your profile was blank as well so I wanted to respond back to you in regards to my stitch fix posts. My style profile is classic and romantic. The jeans I'm wearing above are the brand DL1961 and I love them!!!
