Mondays Maid Simple

Today's tip is very simple and doesn't involve ordering or going out to purchase something new. It might sound strange but swear by this little trick which was given to me when I first burnt my new stainless steel pan a few years back and totally freaked. I was told to fill the pan with water and a squirt of dish soap. Then add a fabric softener sheet and let it soak. I came back a few hours later and the burnt breakfast potato mess dissolved and wiped up without a sponge. AMAZING!

So next time you have burnt cookware that you wouldn't use steel wool on remember this little tip and your problems will wash away, literally. Also, make sure to wash it twice over to ensure there isn't any remaining softener residue. Make sure to check out Apron Strings tip of the day as well.
Seeing as this is a domestic post I thought it only fitting to share a few pics of my little Elsie helping me prepare breakfast.

Great tip! Also, I couldn't help but notice you're using TJ's Multigrain Baking Mix. Isn't it the best??? I use it all the time!
