through her lens

So the weekend before Christmas I came across our very old point and shoot camera and decided to let Elsie have it. I figured since it was already not up to par it wouldn't be a loss if her little hands were to break it accidentally. I showed her how to press the button to snap a shot and that was it. She learned not only how to use frame up people in the screen but how to take a selfie like this one above. All. By. Herself. I thought I'd share some of my favorites from the Holiday weekend and even a few from Christmas day from her lens.
I loved seeing her imagination come through and how much fun she had with the whole process. I would just look over to see her lining up all her friends and then giggling to herself as she took their picture.
Plus after going through her film there were so many fun moments I didn't even know she took pictures of, including the few of Vernon crying in Time out! HAHA! She cracks me up. Hope you all enjoy these shots as much as we did!
Oh and I didn't edit them, so the lighting is horrible in most but this was through the lens of an almost four year old and wanted to leave it just how she saw it.

Why did some of those come out way better than when we take them? That's it, E is the new photographer for all of our events.
