My Second Fix

I received my second StitchFix package a couple of weeks ago and realized I never shared my goods with you all! If you didn't catch my first fix you can check that HERE!

If you've never heard of StitchFix, you are missing out! Like I said in my original post Stitch Fix is a fun and easy way to keep your wardrobe up-to-date. They will help you with your style and size preferences, then send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home, in your closet, with your favorite jeans and heels.
Basically Free Personal Shopper + Stylist in the comfort of your own home!
All together now! "YES PLEASE!"

My last package was awesome but I realized I needed to tweak my preferences a bit, they did a smashing job with the info I sent them but apparently I wasn't as adventurous as I led them on nor do I have any bit of business chic in my wardrobe (what was I thinking)
So when I opened my next fixed I squealed and said to Micah "I'm probably buying all of it"

Because if you buy all five pieces you get 20% off your entire order so I was all about saving some cash moola!
So onto my new digs.
I had let them know I wanted some new fall trends with the season quickly approaching and they gave just what I asked for, unfortunately I'm not as chic as I think I am because I could not get this Drape Front Sweater to work. It was my size and everything and I literally tried it on a million ways. See for yourself.
In the picture on the style tag they included it looked so stinkin' cute but on me it was just, well... frumpy. The only reason it looks decent in these pictures is because you couldn't see that I was either gathering it in the back or pulling it to the front because the extra material didn't flow on me like it did the model in the pics, so alas after many failed attempts and pairing it with a million different shoe options (because lets face it shoes can make or break it too) I threw in the towel and accepted it wasn't quite me. I really wanted it to work though, the quality of the soft material and the olive color were right up my alley.
Thank goodness I tried on this Alida Tab sleeve dress next because it boosted my spirits and had me back in the shopping game! I love this dress! LOVE! It could be worn more casual with sweater and boots or dressed up a bit with heals and a belt. The length was great and I loved the print. This was a definite keeper.
When scheduling your StitchFix you have the option of getting all clothing options in your fix or you can request accessories in lieu of an article of clothing and I did just that this time, you know just for fun.
I loved these Rachel Reinhart earrings until Micah came in and was like "Dang guurrl where weez going later with those diva earrings..."
Of course I didn't think they were diva but I couldn't get that out of my head after he said that and so I decided against them... Didn't I say last time that Micah wasn't allowed to be part of this process because he makes fun of me too much and has me questioning everything. But I guess that is the beauty of it, I'd rather have his input at home with this convenient way of shopping instead of having to go return something to a store after I spent time trying it on with two babies in a dressing room.

Stitchfix has the easiest pre-paid return service that all you have to do is place all the unwanted pieces in the return bag they include and leave it for the postman. GENIUS!
Next was this smokin', off the shoulder short Pink Martini sweater. I was totally into it until ahem...Micah mentioned that I had something just like that, and so I searched my fall sweaters and sure enough I have almost the exact same sweater.
So the good news is they sent me something I would've definitely added to my closet, the bad news is I don't need two of the same. Super cute though and way comfy but was a no keeper.
Then this little number by Dolce Vita was my favorite dress. So fun and vibrant! And I could wear it a million different ways! They had examples of pairing it with a bolero jacket and pumps or layering with a tank with boots. Which I totally did and loved both options but then I tried on my leather pumps and thought I'd mix it up a bit by adding some edge with my Kenna-T leather jacket.
Seriously I could've styled it anyway because it is such a versatile dress. My only complaint was that it was a tad short. Same ol' story for me! Everything is short on my long legs and so I ultimately had to do the can I pick up the kids in this dress test and it totally failed! HAHAHA! However, I love it and think it would make a perfect date night dress!

So have you scheduled your fix yet? Mine next StitchFix is scheduled to arrive in a couple weeks right after my birthday so I'm hoping with my extra birthday cash I will get that perfect fix with all five items with my name on it so I can save that extra 20% and score it all!

You can schedule your fix here or click on the image below to get started!
Happy Shopping!

I absolutely love the idea of stitchfix! I've done a little research on their website, but since you're someone who is a part of it already, could you give me some more info? Honestly, how much does a piece of clothing cost? I'm a bargain shopper, and I buy almost everything on sale. I'm afraid that if I try it, I'm going to be spending a ton of money (that's not in my budget) on something or I will be wasting my $20 for them to send me the package.
I think you're so cute and can pull any of those styles off! I was just wanting an honest opinion from someone who already has used their service! Thanks!
