my cup runneth over

When we started on this path with Sole Hope I had no idea where God would take us nor did I know all he had in store.
I had no idea when I was first introduced to the organization that soon after would become an ambassador for it, nor did Micah. I didn't know that this was the ministry Micah and I had been praying about serving together in for the past few years.
I had no idea that in such a short time how much I would learn and grow from this involvement or how much more my desire to serve God would increase.
I'm grateful for having no idea. I'm thankful God works everything out for our good but for His Glory. I'm brought to tears every. single. time. I think about all who gave and all who donated towards Sole Hope.
I really can't quite put into words or convey how blessed I was by this experience and only hope that I can continually be used to bring Him Glory.

Because honestly this had nothing to do with Micah or myself, this was about God doing his thing and using us as he saw fit.

Ephesians 3:20-21
Glory belongs to God, whose power is at work in us. By this power he can do infinitely more than we ask or imagine. Glory belongs to God in the church and in Christ Jesus for all time and eternity! Amen.
Can I just tell you that before the shoe cutting party took place I had hoped to raise a couple hundred dollars and even thought that was reaching for the stars. After the actual event took place and realized that the dollar amount I dreamt about had been exceeded I cried all sorts of happy joyful tears. Then when I remembered we still had plenty of items left over to raffle off online with hopes in raising more, I was happy dancing all over the place.

Can I tell you that I had to check the paypal donation account THREE times to make sure that the amount I was seeing was correct!

I have no idea why I had to keep rechecking in disbelief because our God is a mighty God and can make much of little (Mark 8:1-9)

so today I want to thank you. thank all your giving hearts. all your prayers and support. for the prizes donated and every dollar given to help change the lives of these children.
Today my cup is beyond full and definitely overflowing.

Psalm 23:5
You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.

With all of your help we were able to raise about $750 from the online raffle, so factor in the party donations and we're totaling a little over $1,100!!
Can you believe that?! From this tiny raffle. God blessed it more than I could have imagined!

Please know that though you may not have won the actual raffle you have helped changed lives and have blessed so so many in the process.
So now what you've all been waiting for, the winners of the raffle!

The first winner selected at random is Tanya Nantroup & second winner is Mary Sherer. Congratulations ladies and thank you both for your generous donations! I will be contacting each of you with the details of your prizes.

I know I have said it a million times but seriously people

Ask and you shall receive!! Beautiful children with beautiful smiles. I set a personal goal to run a 5k a month for a year...I'm currently on #5 coming up next weekend. I have decided that for each event I run, I want to donate $10 on that day for a pair of shoes through Sole Hope. I wouldn't have know about them if you hadn't shared. Thank you!
