Weekend Shenanigans

Micah needed a quick last minute getaway. Which of course meant I needed one too. HA! The only thing different than our usual quick family getaway was this was going to be a bit further than a local overnight stay somewhere. This was going to be a quick turnaround trip up to Northern Cali to visit our dear friends and their new home. So we made that really hard decision we rarely make and agreed to drop the babes off with Grandma and Grandpa for the weekend.
The babes were totally fine and super excited to spend the night there, I however was not totally fine... I knew it would be hard, it always is, but also knew this would be some fun quality time me and my man needed. 
Once we got on the road, and through LA traffic I got really excited to see our friends and wasn't so focused on the fact that I had just left the littles behind. Plus Micah sweetened the pot by buying me all the junk food my heart desired!
We made the most of our very short trip with our peeps! Shopping, shooting, eating, laughing, more eating, dressing up and just great quality time with one of our fave couples!
I had only wished we had one extra day to hang out a little more before heeding back home early Sunday morning, nevertheless it was a fab trip and we can't wait to go back again! (with the babes next time of course)

I have been dying to wear this outfit since I purchased it almost a month ago but it didn't seem to fit any occasion so I was stoked to have the perfect outing to wear it to while visiting Tricia!
