it was warm hot here this weekend
so though there was work to be done in prepping the garden
there was also lots of down time
good quality family time
by the pool
eating lots of fruit
and popsicles
Elsie was such a big helper building the garden boxes and digging
Friday night we dipped our toes in but Saturday we actually swam
Vernon is officially a water baby
look at his face, he couldn't get enough
I mean that. This is him losing his cool because pool time was over
and here he is losing it because the last bite of his popsicle dropped in the grass
but all was well when Elsie shared some of hers
I think we are in for it with this boy
he flips out so easily
so unlike Elsie
we laugh because he is precious
but wait until I'm in public and he pulls this stunt, not sure I'll be laughing then...

Wish we had that kind of sun here this weekend! I don't think it even hit 50. We did plant our vegetable garden though :) Yay to eggplant and watermelon!
