You know that moment when you realize that you want to create a mini shoot for your kids right before nap time and that it may have not been the best idea.
Or how about the next moment when you realize "who am I kidding I have a 3 and 1/2 year old who HATES taking photos and a twenty-one-month old little boy who is, well who is a boy. Who never stands still.
Or that next moment when you realize "oh ya I'm not a photographer just a girl with an old DSLR who knows two tricks in the manual setting.
Ya these pictures reflect all those moments and yet I love that the babes put up with my shenanigans and even laughed with me when I was backing up saying "look at mama, smile you guys, okay perfect,  Oh no I just stepped in dog poo!!!!" #thatreallyhappened
I love that this is a reminder of how just because I envision things to go a certain way or have my own plans, that life doesn't really work that way. Because God is the creator of our lives and is orchestrating each of our songs. Our stories. And I'd rather Him than me. I would much rather embrace the curve balls thrown my way instead of trying to make something happen, because let's be honest when I try to make my own plans and force things to happen I just end up stepping in dog poo.
And on that note. Happy Thanksgiving! May you and your families have a safe and blessed Holiday!
Oh and before I forget there are a few Black Friday sales my shop will be a part of today.
Here and Here but make sure to check back there when they actually post the Black Friday sales so you can score yourself a discount and maybe even a free hoop!
I'm thankful for you all today, I truly am!
